Examination of the Credit Application and Information on the Applicant’s Solvency:
I confirm that all the information provided in my application is complete, up-to-date, and accurate, and I authorize Alma Credit to obtain information about me in the context of the examination of my application and the execution of the contractual relationship from third parties, including banks, the credit information center (ZEK), authorities (e.g., debt enforcement office, land registry office, tax authorities, residents’ registration office, child and adult protection authorities), economic information companies, credit intermediaries, employers, companies of the Alma Credit group, and, if applicable, the consumer credit information center (IKO). For these purposes, I release these entities from the banker’s professional secrecy, postal secrecy, official secrecy, or business secrecy. I acknowledge that Alma Credit is required, where applicable, to declare a consumer lease or consumer credit to be granted or granted to the consumer credit information center (IKO). I also authorize Alma Credit to declare this application to the ZEK and, in the case of corresponding legal obligations, to other bodies. Particularly reported are the type, amount, and terms of credit or financing, as well as the personal data of the lessee(s) and any qualified payment arrears or abuse. I recognize that the ZEK has the right to communicate information about the transmitted data to its members. Alma Credit may refuse the request without providing reasons.
Collaboration with Intermediaries:
I acknowledge that, in the case of applications submitted by an intermediary, Alma Credit may exchange the necessary information with this intermediary in the context of examining the application/solvency and concluding and executing the contract (e.g., the parameters and result of the application review, delivery of contractual documents, information on contract status and payment behavior, and balance), and I release Alma Credit from the banker’s professional secrecy in this context and to the extent necessary.
Information about Partners:
If I have provided information about my spouse or registered partner (hereinafter “the partner”) in the application, I confirm that (i) I have informed my partner of this application, (ii) Alma Credit may verify the above information by contacting my partner directly, and (iii) my partner agrees that Alma Credit may obtain information about him/her as described above (including by submitting information requests to the ZEK).
Data Processing:
I acknowledge that Alma Credit may process my data to examine my application and for risk assessment and marketing purposes (data evaluation and profile creation). In addition, other products and services, including those of Alma Credit group companies and other third parties, may be offered to me by mail or telephone. I can revoke this processing of my data for marketing purposes at any time. By providing my email address, I also agree that Alma Credit may send me the aforementioned offers by email. In the context of open communication by email, I expressly accept the risk that my data may be intercepted or disclosed by third parties during transmission, or that unauthorized third parties may deduce the existence of a contractual relationship between Alma Credit and myself, and that as a result, the protection of confidential information or the banker’s professional secrecy is not guaranteed. I can revoke my consent to the electronic sending of advertising messages at any time.
Collaboration with Service Providers (Outsourcing):
I acknowledge that Alma Credit may subcontract services to third parties (“service providers”), particularly in the areas of commercial process handling, IT security and system control, market research and analysis, credit and market risk calculation related to the activity, and contract relationship administration (e.g., handling of applications and contracts, collections, customer communication). Alma Credit provides these service providers with the necessary data to fulfill their contractual obligations and may also transfer this data abroad for this purpose. The service providers, their employees, and their subcontractors are contractually obliged to maintain confidentiality. The service providers are generally located in Switzerland or within the EU/EEA but may in principle be established worldwide. If personal data is transferred to a country that, from Switzerland’s perspective, does not have an adequate level of data protection, Alma Credit takes appropriate security measures to ensure that the concerned data is properly protected (in particular by applying standard data protection clauses).
Electronic Communication:
I acknowledge that communication between Alma Credit and myself or the intermediary may be done electronically. The intermediary and Alma Credit cannot guarantee the confidentiality of data during transmission over the Internet. Therefore, third parties may deduce the existence or imminent existence of a business relationship (possibly a banking relationship) between me and Alma Credit.

For more information on the processing of personal data by Alma Credit, please consult the data protection statement on the Alma Credit website or inquire with it.
